Jurgis Pranas Didžiulis Valencia was born in Bogota in 1979 to a Columbian mother and the son of Lithuanian immigrants. He spent his childhood in the United States and Columbia before deciding to set roots in Vilnius and fulfill a family dream of returning to Lithuania. Jurgis has a BA in Political science and currently studies for MBA. Though much to the dismay of his family, he chose a career in music, and has comprised, managed and produced numerous musical acts in the past 10 years.

At TEDxVilnius Jurgis talks about making music as a motivation to seek out and create new ways of strengthening your ties to the people around you and tangibly improve their lives.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
